- RagTime 6 is a cross-platform tool for professional document processing. It combines excellent layout features with drawing capabilities, has a sophisticated word processor, two- and three-dimensional business graphics as well as an extraordinary spreadsheet. Pictures, sounds, movies and even buttons can be added to a document.
- RagTime's components are not stand alone modules; they are all part of the same document. There is no need to connect documents, reimport files or cut and paste data.
- For departmental or company- wide work, the use of forms is built in. Different pages can be part of the form, and repeating pages are appended automatically in the right order. This allows you to create similar documents from the same stationery.
- The support of AppleScript on the Mac permits automated processing of repetitive tasks. The recording capabilities make it easy to script with RagTime. With access to Apple-Event aware databases, RagTime can produce documents such as catalogues automatically.
- Layout with free rotation, scaling and skewing of all objects. Master layouts facilitate the maintenance of page layouts.
- The word processor supports multiple columns and text flows around irregular shapes. It is WorldScript II compatible and uses Unicode for worldwide document exchange. Automatic generation of index, table of contents and automatic footnotes are provided.
- 3D-Spreadsheet with cells which can serve as containers for all data types. Several cells can be united.
- An inventory lists all the components of your document, providing a simple yet powerful tool for the administration of large documents.
